It was probably the, I don't know, the biggest event discussing ideas of communism in since the arts. The reviews you see of the conference really do focus on the performative aspects of it. They love to comment on the sort of overall spectacleness of the whole event. But apparently this is Zijek at his frenetic best. It's a little bit of a, you know, mainstream news doesn't know what to do with this and so they end up doing a kind of aesthetic, a set of size description of it.
