Congress didn't vote to condemn QAnon until October. Meanwhile people had been saying that the tech company should have done something far earlier than that. Political scientists have long known this about political opinions and conspiracy theories are similar to other political opinions in a lot of ways. So if you have a president engaging a lot of conspiracy theorizing, then people who follow that president will believe those conspiracy theories.
