Hitchcock famously doesn't really do that. He shows you the crime upfront, right? And then it's about, oh, will Tony get caught? When is that his most successful Hitchcock? You know, I feel like we tend to kind of almost kind of find ourselves siding with the murderers or the criminals in this film. We're more attached and we're more anxious about will an innocent woman be executed? That's where our allegiance lies.
