The Indictment of David Tamaheri in Urban and Hyde's Murder
Three prisoners claimed tamahere had confessed to killing and disposing of urban and hide. But there were markable inconsistencies in their stories. Tamaheri blatantly denied that such conversations had ever taken place. The map he'd drawn of the corommandel peninsula wasn't a guide to bodies at all. A foreign finger print was also lifted from hardy's wallet that wasn't a match to tamehere. With all these inconsistencies coming to light, the tamehare family, as well as tamehere's defence team, were confident that he would be granted a ray trial.
