The Evolution of Pseudonymity
Jake: At the time I started my blog, pseudonymity was not nearly as popular or commonplace as it is today. The last crypto cycle in particular with all the NFT PFPs made it a lot more popular to use one of those and maybe just to use anything really besides your face. And then the second contextual sort of piece is that cancel culture was a lot more active four years ago. Jake: For me very much works the opposite where I feel free to say what I want and do what I want when I have this pseudonymous thing.
