Is There a Critical or a Defense of the Elites?

I think to the extent that elites pretend to know what they really don't know, they have hubris. They have a belief that they can reach up to heaven and steal thunder and fix the human condition. The problem is the models for being an elite in the 21st century are far less fun than the model for being an Elite in the 20th century where you essentially were a godling. I mean you look at this administration in office right now the Joe Biden administration and it's like an illustration of everything that I'm saying.
