The Importance of Language

LZ: You can think about language as a kind of currency in the sense that like we deal in language. And if you debase your currency, then you can't really expect much in the way of rich exchange. That's not entirely sussed out, but I think that's the beginning of something to talk about language in terms of like social good. Theologically, it's a matter of re-imaging, redeeming the world through the word and we have an ability as Christian human beings to name things as they truly are and not as they might seem to be.
