God's Love for Us, Isn't It Monstrous?

ben: I think that i was reflecting on just human relationships, my own love. And comparing that to this incredible verse in romans five, six through eight,. which i already quoted, i paraphrased, but let me read it again. When we were still powerless, christ died for the ungodly; very rarely will any one die for a righteous person. Though for a good person, some one might possibly dare to die. But god demonstrates his love, his own love for us in this. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. It's spectacular and even when you become so familiar with it, it's still hard to believe.
