Ross Albrecht: In order for my squad to take a look at it and my SAC to sign off on us opening a squad, it was the hacking tools and hacking for service. So we started monitoring online about, you know, people talking about things about misconfigurations. And that sort of thing explored that whole setup and was able to find and locate the server in Iceland. He says if you're going to run a server, don't do it with RAID 0. Our listeners don't want to do that. That is perfect. They wouldn't dream. It's how open zeros could see everything.

Chris Tarbell is a former FBI Agent specializing in cyber investigations. While at the FBI, Chris led some of the most high-profile cybercrime investigations in the world, including the arrest of members of the hacker group LulzSec, as well as the founder of the Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, which resulted in the largest seizure of bitcoins to date.
