Sometimes kids might say, I'm not sure. And then we might say, what do you mean you're not sure? Or I think you are sure. Instead of saying all that other language, let's just give them a response instead to model. So giving a model ahead of time can increase the likelihood that the child will start engaging in independent responses and really not accepting the unsure as an answer.
