The Importance of Archaeology in the Contemporary Island
A lot of people train as an archaeologist or sort of, and everybody knows the archaeology because it's literally in their backyards. For me, it's been the entire West Mediterranean that's come into it. So I've become very much involved in Spanish, Iberian archaeology,. Not so much through direct field work, butI'm going to be next year in Barcelona. And I've been co-advising quite a number of grad students.
