The Democratic Party Squashes the Main Energy of Its Young
The Democratic Party has worked vociferously to squash the main energy of its young, which has basically been in the Bernie Sanders type progressive wing. The party treats the most energetic aspect of its own base almost with derision and then expect those people to show up and vote for them when election day comes around. I think that there are responsibilities that come with age, not just mentoring, but making the space for these politicians who keep running after the age of 80.
