813 Billion Dollars Is a Crap Ton of Money.
The budget is disconnected from the strategy. If anything, the strategy is written to justify the budget that's already been passed. I wish that all those great articles in war on the rocks actually made a difference but i don't see it. Just just spend the money and we'll figure out later what the rational is. The one thing we know is, you know, death taxes an the pentagon budget, there will be one,. And it's going to be higher than the year before, almost always.
