The idea of in bill obsolescence started to be theorized after the Great Depression. It was a way to avoid this paradoxical situation where you had more than enough stuff for people but they didn't have the money to buy it. So I'm not saying it's going to radically change anything, but I do think what it's exposing is the ways in which the supply chains are set up. A film called planet of the humans has just been released on Earth Day and exposes something about that system. The main one of the main drivers behind the shift to so-called green energy isn't really green energy as this documentary reveals.
