In those days, it wasn't that much of a stretch to think of the video game business as basically being really a pertinent to the toy business. Now we don't think of it, now we think of it more as a pertinent to Hollywood. I mean, you look at the last of us or, you know, things like that where they're supplying IP to like serious drama and whatever. But like, that wasn't always the case.

We sit down Benchmark’s legendary gaming investors Mitch Lasky and Blake Robbins (now also of the excellent Gamecraft podcast fame) to discuss the history and future of gaming business models.
