How to Translate Parataxes to Translators

Alta Ben-Ghiat: I have a friend who was teaching an undergraduate course at Stanford in which he included, for whatever reason Ezekiel or part of Ezekiel. He asked them to consider the difference between my version of a particular passage and one from the standard translation that we're using. And they all preferred my translation. So it's a kind of laboratory illustration of how modern readers actually can read parataxes. She says if you manage to render Ezekiel comprehensible to 19 year olds, as a sign, the translation is successful.
