Is There a Higher Power of Intellect?
The definition of a human person, by the way, is a rational animal. We are animals, but we have a rational soul which means we have intellect and will,. Non-rational animals like the cat and the dog do not have that. Cats and dogs, they have ends. Like if you put out a fish, not a fish, right? Yeah. The cat has intentionality, but it has no conception of fishiness, catness, harmony, common good. You can't abstract onto the spiritual and spiritual scale.
