House of Cards, Stranger Things, Netflix?
House of Cards premiere before Hemlock Grove. Lily Hammer was the only show before House of Cards, which was an extension of a Norwegian show. The other thing I'd say is sure, it was an inevitability. Netflix had tried to go into original programming in 2004, 2005, or something called Red Envelope Entertainment. It blew up in their face. This time it did work.
