The Origin Myth of the World

The Crow Nation, and indigenous people that are present in Yellowstone National Park have a figure called Old Man Coyote. In some stories, it's not a coyote, but it's a wolf. And again, what I love about this story is the slight similarities it has to the creation myth in the Bible. From the perspective of comparative mythology, people living on the land that we now call America, who have absolutely no contact with the people living in the Middle East,. yet their origin myth of how the world was created has similarities like the great flood.
