Introduction

This is the JAMA Editor's Summary, a review of important research and review articles appearing in the latest JAMA issue. Dr. Kirsten Bippens-Domingo: Let's begin with the research reports of which there are three. The first from Nagy and colleagues report on the effect of Ivermectin versus placebo on time to sustained recovery in outpatients with mild to moderate COVID-19. In the second original investigation, the Global Burden of Disease Long COVID Collaborators report on estimated global proportions of individuals with persistent fatigue, cognitive and respiratory symptom clusters following symptomatic CO VID-19 infection.
