How Google Glass Can Deepen Inequity
Safya Umoja Noble is the co-founder and co-director of the UCLA Center for Critical Internet Inquiry with another scholar named Sarah T. Roberts. To them, having Glass was like getting access to the Panopticon tower. In March 2013, a barn Seattle became the first of several establishments to ban Glass. And then, people who wore Glass started to experience actual harassment. A lot of places where Glasslash was strongest were in major tech hubs like San Francisco and Seattle.
