The Old Testament, Prophets O. I'm Really, Really Fascinated by the Old Testament

i'm really, really fasci fascinated by the prophetic tradition. Am i think it's something that a perhaps could be revivified in our modern times? I love the professional philosopher, but then there's the occupational philosopher who is engaging in a different process of philosophy altogether. Like seneca didn't write his epistles because a book publisher said to him: O, we need you to write a book about stoicism as it will fit into the market. He was actually trying to wrestle with these questions. Do you think it changes the art at a fundamental level or if so, why? And do you think  it gives you an icky feeling, like they're doing
