How to Design an Accessible Kitchen

Accessible kitchen design is almost a science in itself. Key considerations are to have really clear space underneath the sink and the hob so you can access underneath it in a wheelchair. A couple of ways you can do this include designing flexible work tops that can adjust either at the press of a button electronically or be operated on a manual winder. Another solution that we often design into accessible kitchens includes drop down baskets located in overhead cabinets.
