It was precisely what I had expected, except the black holes were a little heavier than I expected. We knew enough about the universe that seemed like a pretty good bet then. And it just seemed very likely to me that the number of black holes would be less than neutron stars. But it would be less by a factor of maybe 100, not 1000. That's what I was aiming for is the most likely thing to happen.
