A Brief History of Afra Ben

Afra ben wrote 16 works of fiction, all of which have narrators who are either obviously female or have no specified gender. She also continued to write poetry throughout her career. Much of ben's work was romantic and sensual with both women and men as the subjects of her love poems. After more than 20 years making a living as a writer, afra ben died on april sixteenth 16 89, at roughly 50 years old.
