The US Losses Are a Rounding Error
Stalin had begged the US to enter the war earlier. Churchill really lobbied against that, one of them more to protect the British Empire in northern Africa especially. The USSR, it gets described after the fact that the Soviets are really treacherous and that they went back on their word. But this really wasn't the case. It came out that by and large Stalin had adhered to the things that they had agreed at other conferences.
