How Did You Get Out of a Cult Life and Sex and Love Addiction?
There was a meme going around after Katrina that showed, you know, people up to their necks in water and the caption was, maybe we should pray more. And it's like, I'm not anti-spirituality, but like true spirituality makes you less of an asshole, not more. The judging people has no realm in true spirituality. None. But those people generally require a lot of sexual favors for that type of rescue dynamic. So if that's what I needed to do, that's what he did. Not proud of it, but it makes sense to me now.
