What Is the Lifelong Process of Our Sanctification?
The orto is referenced directly here. In particularly the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, where a new principle of life is granted to the Christian. And that's reflected in the language you see in the confession, a new spirit is created in them. That means it's made further is further set apart and made actual, actually, holy. The sanctification of our whole person is a process whereby our conduct, our thinking, our wills, our decisions are made to further conform with how we are already reckoned in Christ.
