The Human Athletic Position in Skiing
The fundamentals of skiing are pretty basic and then you can just drill down through layers and layers and layers of details and nuance. The human athletic position is the same for all sports you know and it's hands up eyes forward knees bent generally in a very forward position ready to move at anything that comes at you. If you're sitting on your heels and your feet are together you're going to have a bad time so we want to be forward right everything moving down the mountain. We like to tell people knees to skis push the knees to your skis feel the front of your ski boot if you're feeling the back ofyour ski boot in your hands or down by the pockets of your pants
