The Art of Flare Players
Flare is probably taken from the French, but it means playing with some kind of style. You look at players like Messi and the way he controls the ball,. So you can definitely say he has flare. Incredible skill, but also the ability to do something unexpected. The other one was the England Wear a Workhorse team. It's an expression that basically obviously relates to different kinds of horses. There are race horses, which are thoroughbreds, and there are workhorses which plot along and maybe pull the plow through the fields.
