The History of the Ouija Board
The idea of automatic writing, which is really sort of like scrying, it dates back so far. The earliest mentions go all the way back to ancient China around 1100 CE. It was a not uncommon practice for a while and several several prestigious institutions until it was forbidden by the Qing dynasty. Ben: Have you heard of the Japanese version of the Ouija board? Yes, but I've never used one.
