I'm Not Racist
In March, it was this reflexive notion that was widespread in the media that asking the question and we all hate Tom Cotton. So must be bad. And so therefore must be racist. This is people who work for the New York Times and work for prestigious publications sort of deciding that the inquiry itself must be racist because Donald Trump, obviously, just wants to call it the Chinese flu. The origin of where this came from is an actual story. But this is a problem actually, like it is to preemptively filter what might be or might not be the truth based on what we think the person that we dislike is going to use with it.
