What Is Grace?
The word grace is used to describe not just the gift that God gives us, but also how it motivates and generates behaviors. In one passage in the New Testament, Luke says there was great grace on all of these people who had been forgiven by Jesus. The only thing he can think of to describe what would motivate that, he says grace, chorus. It seems to me he's saying that God's grace was not just something that he did for them, it becomes this power or a presence in their lives.
