What Does the Book of Goose Tell Us About the Ownership of Art?

The story is narrated by Agnes Fabian but her voice is missing from the story. She feels ambivalent at the beginning about writing the book and later her feelings when she comes back to retell the story. The two friends, I would say, at the beginning of working on the novel two friends came to me as a pair so very clearly as a duet. Nothing can be told straightforwardly there's always a second layer of truth there. And I like that in a narrator, I like that muddiness in a narrator.
