The Ruby Community and the Elixir Community

Jose Valim created the Elixir programming language, which is built on top of the Erlang virtual machine. The syntax from Ruby will be very familiar to you. And if you're in the closure community, you'll also see something common. In fact, a lot of the math behind the lazy streams came right out of Haskell.
