The History of St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day is a traditional Irish festival and has been celebrated in Ireland since the early 17th century. The UK, Switzerland, South Korea, the USA and Argentina are just some of the countries which now recognise this festival. In Chicago, the city's plumbers union colours the Chicago River Green for 24 hours to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Maybe you can find some St Patrick's day events near you to take part in next March 17th.
