If you had the keys to a lab, what would your major lines of research be? I'd probably do training studies, yes. In the real world, i wouldn't cause that's a lot of work. A metaanalysis looked at ten studies with trained subjects looking for an impact on strength development. Found that it didn't. The frequencies represented by these studies spanned all the way from one session, per lift, per week, up to nine sessions per lift per week.
