How to Use a Newsletter to Reach Your Audience
The value of the newsletter too is then you have this owned list of people where you know theoretically if Wattpad suddenly went bankrupt you might lose all of your readers and then you'd have to start a platform somewhere else. I think having that direct connection with your audience on some kind of platform is very crucial because for that very reason it's like the algorithms might not be great things might change but if you always maintain some kind of contact it's helpful. You never want to wholly rely on one company's random algorithm because it might work for your book one day but all they have to do is tweak a number and sort of disappear like Facebook pages used to be so valuable.
