Are You Hiring a Full Time Employee?

Proposition 22 was passed by the California legislature in June. It says that if you're an ap base driver, you're an independent contractor. The law office of pandretores hired a full-time employee to do some work for them before they hired her part time. But under proposition 22 she got to set her hours and decide whether she wanted to take n right? That's a perfectly reasonable use of the independent contractor provision. So immediately after proposition 22 passed, it was challe e in court, and at the end of august it was declared unconstitutional. This will go all the way up to the california supreme Court.
