The Importance of Biblical Literacy

I think what you're getting at is one of the reasons why biblical literacy actually really does matter. Because somehow people just need to get more quantities of Bible text in them, but because they need the Bible to be able to do the gritty, gristy work that you're just describing. So then it just feels like, oh, you should memorize the catechism or something as opposed to actually encountering God. That's right. I've had a few questions regarding the comment that God is unfinished. And so I was wondering maybe if you could clarify for us what that means.
