The Differences Between Winning and Losing Trades
When the system is not doing well what you see is that the period is not because we're losing bigger amounts. It is the shortening of the winning trade holding period that is one of the most noticeable statistical phenomena of losing periods. So that's the one that becomes shorter and of course that results in a higher trading volume. And that's primarily, I mean from having a rules-based approach and the most liquid of markets.
