How to Communicate Effectively as a Consultant

Communication is the centerpiece of management consulting. If you cannot sit in front of a consultant and have the poise and polish, they are never going to hire you. We can teach you to dismantle the case like a 1968 Chevy and put it back together again in two hours. But if you cannot communicate, no one knows why you're dismantling the Chevy and how you're putting it backtogether again. It doesn't matter what your GMAT score is. People that cannot hold a conversation outside of a formal and structured setting will always struggle to communicate.
