Is There a Way to Reason Our Way Through It?

On both sides of the transformation, we are confronted by radical ignorance. There's no way to reason our way through it. The child doesn't know what they're going to lose when they lose their childhood innocence. When they become an adult, they don't know. They go into therapy not only because they're stuck, but also stupefied as they face the need for radical transformation.
