The Importance of Listening

There's a saying in Chinese culture that if the kid doesn't listen, you need to use a stick to hit them. Right now, I'm not really letting my son watch television. Unless I need a quick break or an easy distraction. Do you remember letting us watch TV when we were younger? Did you monitor what we watched? Yeah. More iPad, more cell phone. Mostly educational things, but back then, there's no iPad or cell phones. And we have only one TV in the living room.
