The Benefits of Goal Setting for ADHD Brains

If I had as my goal, I have to run a marathon, there is no way I would do it. Now, if I focus on the action or the doing, that would feel a lot better to me. If I write one page per day, this time next year, I'll have written 365 pages. We really need to learn how to feel the positive emotion and the pride that we feel for ourselves in reaching our goal or completing our tasks.
