Giga Renz is a critic of the idea that certain models are taken as normative without question. So, I don't see ecological rationality has nothing to do with being green or hugging a tree. In Giga Renz's definition and that of John Tooby and Lita Cosmades just refers to the way that reasoning takes place in a natural human environment. But almost by definition, it's not aNormative model.
