The Death of a Polish Woman in Childbirth
Yadwiga of Poland dies at age 25, postpartum, along with her little daughter. She is almost the sort of pinnacle of what she could have gone on to achieve. Her team in Vaval Cathedral became a rallying point for polls during Polish partition. And I think that feminine touch runs through from her, through the Polish line and through her tomb.
