The Killing of a Child in San Diego

Marian's body was found mutilated in an Oregon park on December 19th, 1996. A reward of $100,000 was offered for information leading to her killer and his capture. William Edward Hickman had been a co-worker of Marian's father Perry Parker at the First National Bank of Los Angeles when he killed her. He then disarticulated her arms and legs during the dismemberment with such force that it flew out of the tub suggesting she may have still been alive during the act. When police told him they knew what he'd done, he broke down into fits of rage before hanging himself from a nearby movie theater.
