The Systemic Issue With the ASX
I spent four or five hours yesterday starting a list of every company that was once worth more than a billion dollars on the ASX. It's no longer listed. But soon enough, I would assume that there's going to be a more valuable sort of former companies list than current companies list. There's a systemic issue here where the ASX offers a high cost, excessive monopoly fees model. The returns are better with private equity and long term super funds. And we just don't perform well in generating multinational companies listed in Australia. We've lost Sydney Airport, AusNet, AO Property, Focus Communications, Coca-Cola,. Amritor, Cram Resorts, Infidigen
