The CBFC and the Cinematographer Amendment

It doesn't matter what age a person is 17 or 70 or 45 in terms of those kinds of cuts being warranted. So religious references and political references may be filtered out, but they may not have anything to do with age. The government seems to have rejected that recommendation because the censorship powers of the CBFC have not been taken away. OTT platforms when it comes to foreign films at the very least has been willing to make them available in an uncut form. For Indian films they have been less willing to take that risk.
